Pisgah National Forest has been nicknamed, “the land of

Waterfalls throughout the recreation areas of the Pisgah
National Forest surrounding Bear Den Campground.
The Lost Cove and Wilson Creek Wilderness Areas are home to some
of the best Waterfalls in Blue Ridge Mtns. in NC. Gragg Prong
Falls is accessed off of the Lost Cove Creek/Gragg Prong Trail.

FR 464, from SR 1518 off the Parkway, on the opposite ridge of
the Lost Cove Wilderness Area. Also on the Hunt-Fish Falls Trail

the end into a large pool accessed by taking FR 58 for .25
